Hi everyone,
I'm Cordelia, I'm based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, i'm a proud Mummy to my 2 wild boys, Edward & William. I have been a photographer for as long as I can remember but it became my full time job back in 2017 when I left my career in HR behind and Ted & Tortoise was born.
I've always been 'creative' and followed my heart and not my head when I chose my degree in Fine Art from Sheffield Hallam, graduating all the way back in 2008. No amount of qualifications make you a photographer though, I love capturing memories and, more than that, I love working with people! I always get emotional when I meet your little new babies or hear vows exchanged at a wedding as I watch through my lense, because I'm always so emotionally invested in the people I work with.
My photography style is timeless, simple, delicate and honest, I love to capture the moments in life that others might miss - my husband gets very fed up of my camera coming along wherever we go! I like to be out and about, no stuffy studios and dark rooms here!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I get to do the thing I love the most, as my job (definitely doesn't feel like a job to me!)
